After a not very auspicious beginning artistically, Claire attended the University of New Mexico, where she discovered that she is a photographer. Bliss ensued, and a BFA. Because she didn’t know what to do with herself, she then entered an MFA program in fine art photography. Bliss (and MFA) did not ensue, and she had to take a breather from the art world for a while. In 2020, she left New Mexico and moved to Minneapolis, MN to try and figure some things out about how to live her life. She landed among a community of artists, and suddenly it was again easier to make art than not. She is, at times, blissfully happy that she can once again find and photograph little pieces of the world that remind her why life is worth living.
